Christmas Eve

  • Grace Episcopal Church Nine Harrington Avenue Westwood, New Jersey, 07675 United States (map)

As we come to the end of the holy season of Advent,  a time of expectant waiting and preparation for the birth of Christ, we are excited and grateful that we will be able to celebrate our Christmas services in our church buildings this year.  Unfortunately, we are also in the midst of increasing concerns over the rising numbers of cases of COVID in our area. We had hoped that the restrictions with which we’ve been dealing for so long would continue to be able to be relaxed, but the reality is that we must still be deliberate and diligent in our practices when we gather together in person in our churches.

We will continue to follow a few basic practices that will keep everyone as safe as possible. Masks are required at all times. Social distancing must still be respected, so the total number of people who can be accommodated is restricted. It would be extremely helpful if each person/family would consider grouping together with those persons with whom you are in close contact, either in families or social groups. Planning to sit together in the pews as a group will increase the total number of persons that can fit into our space without increasing the risk of contact.

Registering for the Christmas Eve services at 9 PM is required. This will also help us identify the potential need for preparing to use additional space in the buildings – loft, chapel, etc. To register for 9 PM, please use one of this link.
