In 2014, the previous Archbishop of Canterbury and renowned theologian, Rowan Williams, wrote a simple, accessible book on the basics of Christian discipleship and community titled Being Christian: Baptism, Bible Eucharist, Prayer. The book was a great success and inspired two more books that have also received high praise: Being Disciples:Essentials for Christian Living and Being Human: Bodies, Minds, Persons.

This past Epiphany season, we had a great experience reading and discussing Baptism, Bible, Eucharist and Prayer, and now for the Easter season we will read Being Disciples: Essentials of Christain Faith. It is not required to read the first book in order to join this group.

This book is only 87 pages long.  The chapters are quite short, but will provide us with plenty of meaningful content to explore and discuss.
