We extend a warm invitation to join us for our online Epiphany service January 6 at 7:00 PM. If you haven’t joined for online worship before, we encourage you to do so for this Principal Feast of the Church Year. Joining together in prayer has provided many of us with strength, support and hope during this difficult time.
If you have any questions about online worship, please don’t hesitate to contact Father Anthony Puca at gecrector@gmail.com. God bless.
About Epiphany
The word epiphany means manifestation. The Epiphany was originally observed in the Eastern Church as the feast celebrating the manifestation of Christ as God’s Son at his Baptism, the manifestation of Christ to the Gentiles (the Magi representing the brightest of the Gentile world) and the manifestation of his miraculous power by turning water into wine. The first Sunday following the Epiphany celebrates particularly the baptism of Jesus by John the Baptist in the Jordan River, and is the last feast day in the celebratory Incarnation cycle. Subsequent Sundays will use green vestments and are commonly known as “Ordinary Time.” Click here for the bulletin

O God, who by the leading of a star didst manifest thy only-begotten Son to the peoples of the earth: Lead us, who know thee now by faith, to thy presence, where we may behold thy
glory face to face; through the same Jesus Christ our Lord, who liveth and reigneth with thee and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
